Fwd: Freezer Friday

“Imagination will often carry us to worlds that never were, but without them, we go nowhere.”  Carl Sagan

I love a creative mind. That’s why I enjoy the fun things Philadelphia graphic design artist Charlie Layton draws on his freezer. Each Friday, Charlie takes 25 minutes to let his mind wander as he creates a masterpiece on his dry-erase surfaced freezer with a simple, black dry-erase marker. Take a moment to look through Mr. Layton’s work: Freezer Friday

Art Project Sneak Peak

On Tuesday in art class, 4A was joined by an artist in residence named Sarah Ferguson. She helped the students create clay self-portraits. Thanks to all the parents who came to assist and to Anjanette McHayle for passing these photos along. Look for these to come home sometime in the near future.
