Creating a Pollinator Sanctuary in the School Garden

The fourth graders spent time this year bringing new life to our garden. After preparing the garden beds by pulling weeds and amending the soil, students researched plants that would attract pollinators and thrive in our climate. What was once a a messy crop of weeds is now a pleasant space full of plants that are ready to grow, bloom, and bring more pollinators into our school garden. Check out the pictures to see some of the hard work the students have been putting in to improve this area of our school.
